This page explains how we handle data on levantra.tech. The principle is simple: we do not collect what we do not need, we use no tracking tools, and we sell data to nobody.
Who runs this site and how to reach us
This website is operated under the name Levantra, used for software development and digital product services, with a stated base in Damascus, Syria.
For any privacy question or request, write to contact@levantra.tech.
Legal reference
We use Syrian Law No. 12 of 2024 on the protection of electronic personal data as our primary reference, while observing general principles appropriate for international and European visitors.
We do not claim to hold a compliance certification or to have completed a formal legal review, and we do not describe this site as fully legally compliant.
What data may be processed
Browsing the site: reading these pages requires no personal data, and we use no analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
The contact form: whatever you type into the contact form stays inside your browser and is never sent to our servers. When you press the send button, your answers are assembled into an email that opens in your own mail app, and it only reaches us if you send it yourself.
Email correspondence: when you write to us we receive the content of your message, your email address, and the usual technical email metadata, via our mail provider.
Technical server logs: the server may record limited request data (such as time, requested path and response code) for operational and security purposes. The current configuration does not log IP addresses, query strings or request bodies.
Purposes of processing
Replying to your enquiry and discussing your potential project.
Operating the site and keeping it available, secure and free of abuse.
We do not use your data for any advertising purpose, and we do not send marketing messages without separate, explicit consent from you.
Data minimisation
The contact form does not ask for an ID number, date of birth, home address, financial details or passwords, and the site accepts no file attachments.
We ask only for what is genuinely needed to reply usefully to your enquiry.
No selling, no tracking
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
The site contains no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, reCAPTCHA, embedded maps, embedded video or third-party chat widgets.
Every file the site loads — including its fonts — is served from our own server, so your browser makes no connection to an external service while you browse.
Hosting and server location
The site is hosted on a server with IONOS in Germany.
The hosting provider carries out the technical processing necessary to run the server and transmit data.
Cross-border data transfer
Because the server is located in Germany and our mail provider operates on infrastructure outside Syria, data you send us may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.
We state this plainly because it is something you should know before writing to us.
Security measures
The site runs over HTTPS with an automatically renewed certificate, and applies standard security headers at the server level.
Services run with limited privileges and administrative access is kept to what is necessary.
We do not publish fine-grained technical detail about the security setup, and we make no claim of absolute protection; no internet-connected system is entirely without risk.
Retention
The site stores no contact messages in any database, because it has no database at all.
Emails you send us remain in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or our professional relationship, and are deleted when that need ends, unless a contractual or legal requirement applies.
We do not state a specific retention period, because doing so would be a claim not actually enforced by our current procedures.
Your rights
You may request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent — within the limits of the applicable laws.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To make a request, write to contact@levantra.tech. We may need to satisfy ourselves reasonably that you are the person concerned before acting.
External links
The site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way the site or our services work changes. The version published here is the one in force, and the last updated date appears at the top of the page.
